Creme de Cassis

"Creme de Cassis" is an elegant cocktail ensemble that epitomizes the tasteful flair of an elegant era. A slim lilac bodice and full skirt is overlaid with black lace. Four layers of black and lilac tulle add fullness to the skirt. The belt folds into a large bow. The neckline is accented with a rhinestone-studded bow at the breast. Accessories include a veiled ribbon hat with crystal and black hairpins; "amethyst" and rhinestone jewelry; hose, and velvet strap shoes with rhinestone accents. Circa 1953.
