An American Countess

Gene is dressed in a sequined and embroidered grand ballgown fashioned of fuchsia taffeta. Its darling bodice features off-the-shoulder organza sleeves covered in sequins. the sequin and metallic embroidery continues down the organza bodice onto a front panel, forming a stemmed flower pattern. The spangle embroidery extends to the full overskirt supported by a tulle petticoat. The ensemble includes a matching fuchsia clutch with gold chain hanfle; "diamond" earrings and necklace; and fuchsia ribbon-tie shoes. Gene's dark brown hair is crowned by a "diamond" tiara.
